Peter Hastings – Executive Director
Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Peter is proud to call Southern Indiana home since 2014. Peter and his wife live right here in New Albany with their three children. He has over 15 years’ experience working closely with the senior population and formerly served as The Life Enrichment Director and the Director of Business Services for The Mansion on Main. His role is to provide exceptional customer service, serve as an advocate for the residents, and lead an amazing team of dedicated and compassionate staff who understand how essential each of their roles play in the quality of life for our customers.
Michelle Strader, RN – Director of Nursing Services
Michelle has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. She is a Registered Nurse. Michelle lives in Louisville and the residents here are in very safe hands. Michelle truly cares about each and every person who lives at The Mansion on Main.
Jennie Mestel – Director of Business Services
Jennie has 15 years Director experience and has served in many volunteer roles. Her role is to provide exceptional customer service, serve as an advocate for the residents and facilitate a highly organized, efficient office. She and her husband enjoy hiking, biking and spending time with their 2 sons and daughter-in-law.
Shauna Griffin – Director of Sales & Residential Relations
Originally from New Albany, Shauna has three children – two girls and one boy. She enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, throwing darts, and watching racing. Shauna has a certification in tax crediting with experience in environmental & guest services, as well as management supervision, Her goal is to provide each customer with the best experience and options when looking for care or a community for themselves or loved ones.
April Lowe – Director of Life Enrichment
April is creative, compassionate and truly cares for the residents at The Mansion on Main. She began her career here as the full-time Concierge and has been promoted to the Director of Life Enrichment. April is currently working to become Activity Director Certified, a requirement by State regulations. She lives in Clarksville with her boyfriend and they enjoy helping to care for three children – two nieces and one nephew.
Jay Bailey – Director of Maintenance/Environmental Services
Jay relocated from Western New York where he lived for 52 years and worked for a large banking firm in the facilities management department for 12 years. He relocated to the New Albany three years ago with his wife of 35 years. Jay has high expectations and works hands on to ensure the development is a clean, safe, and well operating.
Kellye Fleitz – Executive Chef
A Hoosier at heart, Kellye moved to Louisville from Seymour, Indiana to pursue a career as a Chef. She graduated from Sullivan University with a degree in Culinary Arts 17 years ago. Kellye has worked as a Chef at many fine dining establishments in Louisville before going into long term care about 7 years ago. Kellye is dedicated to ensuring the residents have the best dining experience. She brings a positive, upbeat attitude to every situation set before her and the residents couldn’t be more thrilled to enjoy the delicious menu selections each day.
